Front Runner Slimline II Platform Rack Installation - 2013 Ram 2500- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have my 2013 Ram 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Front Runner Slim Line II low profile platform rack. Adding this platform to your roof is going to allow you to add, put luggage up there, store different stuff, put accessories up there if you wanna haul a bike or maybe put a cargo box up there, whatever. Whatever you want to add to your roof, you should be able to mount anything you want onto this platform. The only other option for mounting anything to the roof of your Ram 2500 is going to be a set of roof bars. And I do not like how the roof bar's attached to the Ram because they're going to clamp through the door jam and or on the inside, just on the inside here. more

SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ram 2500- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ram 2500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the SeaSucker Monkey Bar Roof Rack System, part number 298-SX6000.Now, as you can see, we have the front bar installed. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, what sets this roof rack apart from a lot of other roof racks that you could have for your truck, rather than having the traditional clamp style, which comes under your doorframe right here, it uses suction cups to secure it to the roof of your vehicle. Each suction cap has a 210 pound pull capacity, so it's going to be very sturdy and hold up to rough conditions.As you can see, we have the round bars on here. You will have some wind noise and drag, but you can purchase a fairing separately at etrailer.com to install right here and take away a lot of that wind noise and drag. It uses a plunger system right here to secure itself to the roof. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2017 Ram 2500- Video

Today on 2017 RAM 2500 we'll be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Roof Rack kit. This is consisting of part numbers RRVA150B-2, those are going to be our Vortex Aero Crossbars. The next part number is RRRLKVA, those are our Rhino Rack 2500 Series legs. For our foot kit the part number is going to be DK043. Now you'll see we already have our front bar installed. We're going to put together our last leg kit and then show you how to load this back bar up onto our vehicle. Everything that you see here comes in our kit. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Ram 2500- Video

Today on our 2014 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Crew Cab. We're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers with the 58 inch crossbars. Using part number Y00409, Y00607, Y00607 again and Y00124. With our rack assembled according to the manufacturers instructions, we're going to begin our test fit by opening the front doors, grabbing the front half of our rack, and placing it on to the front roof line of our vehicle. For Yakima fit guide, we'll measure back from the wind shield 10 inches to the leading edge of our front foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. With our measurement done, we'll now pull down on the black levers to secure the front half of our rack to our vehicle. more
